"Urban Slums: The Shadow of the Humanitarian Generation"
When: Jan. 21-24
What: Undergraduates, nonprofit workers, policy makers and academics will gather at the 2010 Northwestern University Conference on Human Rights to examine the problems slum dwellers face and, while focusing on the factors that maintain slum life, explore different motivations and approaches in addressing the human rights violations of slum dwellers.
